Abstract

Virtual reality (VR) is a technology that simulates 3D image or environment that allows user to interact with a real or virtual environment. Virtual realities artificially create sensory experience, which can include sight, touch, hearing, and smell. The output of virtual realities may be either through computer monitor, head-mounted display, speakers or headphones. The immersive environment can be similar to the real world in order to create a lifelike experience. Autism is a spectrum of developmental disorder characterized by qualitative impairments in social interaction and communication and a restricted range of activities and interests. There are many treatments and therapies for autism. We have suggested a treatment using virtual environment which increases the Intelligent Quotient and Behavioral quotient of a particular child. By increasing the interactivity of the environment, the attentiveness of the child can be increased
