Denoising ECG Signal: A Review
Abstract
—Heart disease is one of the major problems that needs to be addressed using the latest methods of signal processing. Different measuring parameters are used to identify heart disease. Electrocardiogram (ECG) plays an important role in diagnosis of heart disease. Practically it is not possible to acquire ECG signal without noise. For analysis and interpretation of ECG signal, it is very important to diagnose this signal. In this paper, different kinds of noise present in the ECG signal are illustrated, and several techniques for their removal are discussed.
