Abstract

Gyrotronasanoscillatoremployinternalconverterstoconvertthe
cavityinteractionmodetoaGaussianoutputbeam.Amodelaunch
erwithQuasiOpticalMirrorsystemwillconverttherequiredGau
ssianbeam.Developmentofmodegeneratorfortherequiredmode
helpsinverifyingtheRFcircuitdesignandimplementationofthei
nternalconverteralongwithwindow.ColdtestofinternalRFcircu
itofGyrotronwithmodegeneratorhelpsinunderstandingmirror
alignment,modepatternbeforeitintegratinginthegyrotronvacu
umenvelop.Inthispaper,aCoaxialTE62modegenerator
issimulated in orderto test thequasiopticalmodeconvertersystem,
whichwould beused inaWbandgyrotron.
